Synopsis: Gary Kildall was the first to create Microcomputer Operating Systems, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and one of the first to create a Graphical User Interface based Desktop operating environment amongst many more incredibly important innovations. He was arguably at least ten years ahead of his time, and yet, despite all of these accomplishments, many have never heard of him. This is the story of Gary Kildall, his wife Dorothy and their company, Digital Research Incorporated.
